World History Encyclopedia

ABC-CLIO is seeking authors to contribute 1,000-1,500 word articles to its forthcoming 21-volume World History Encyclopedia. This reference work will provide a resource for college undergraduates and Advanced Placement (AP) history students unlike any other available. The project, which will consist of approximately 8,000 entries written by hundreds of scholars, is led by world historian, Alfred Andrea, President-Elect of the World History Association and Professor Emeritus at The University of Vermont. The work will be organized in eight themes through nine different eras.

Please click on the links below to view the list of open topics below, arranged according to regions, themes, and eras. In order to meet review standards, we do require that contributors hold a Ph.D., ABD, or have recognized expertise in the field.
