The field of heterodox economics

What is the heterodox economics? The heterodox economics is promoting the development of economic science using instruments, methodologies, and sets of knowledge which differentiates it from the orthodox economy. These alternative thoughts can be supported on the traditional schools of the Classic economists, new trends or those relegated by the dominant neoclassic thought.

In effect, the topics that covers the heterodox concept is very wide, on this can participate, Keynesians, Post Keynesian, Marxist, institucionalists, regulacionists, evolutionists, ecological, sraffians economists, etc. But the common denominator is the search of scientific explanations, that offer to us clearly and in rigorous way to understand the real dynamics of the economy.

In other words the heterodox economics represents an alternative vision to the orthodox approach of the economics.
