Eduardo Gilberto Loría Díaz de Guzmán holds a PH.D. in Economics from the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM for its acronym in Spanish); a Master´s Degree in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE for its acronym in Spanish).He is Full-Time “C” Research Professor and recognised with the “Academic Faculty Performance Bonus Program” (PRIDE D for its acronym in Spanish) in the Department of Economics, UNAM, since 1992. He belongs to the National System of Researchers (SNI for its acronym in Spanish) as a National Researcher Level III. Founder and coordinator of both theCenter for Modeling and Economic Forecasting (CEMPE for its acronym in Spanish) and the Graduate Program in Applied Econometrics at the UNAM. His research lines are macroeconometric and forecast modeling, focused on explaining the slow growth of the Mexican economy. He has written 22 books, 22 book chapters and 111 published articles in national and international journals with arbitration and impact factor.
